September 23, 2016: A Michigan man has been arrested and charged with killing his four children and trying to kill his wife. Authorities say the suspect, Gregory Vincente Green, 49, called police after the murders at about 1 a.m. At his home in Dearborn Heights, responding officers found four children between the ages of 4 and 19 dead.
Police said the murders were part of a domestic violence-related incident.
Two of the man’s children, a 4-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy, were asphyxiated with carbon monoxide, while the 17-year-old and 19-year-old, who were reportedly stepchildren, were shot and found bound in the basement, Lt. Michael Krause told the Detroit News.
The mother of the children and the suspect’s wife, Faith Green, was in stable condition at the hospital, police said. She was reportedly stabbed and shot.
